Isuzu D-Max 2012 Deluxe Combination Bar

DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT:
Being built on the same platform, the D-Max bar is closely styled against the Colorado combination bar. As these vehicles share the same chassis it was possible to share some of the components, including the bullbar mounts. The bull-bar mounts are unique for these two vehicles. Unlike most other vehicles, the passenger air bag firing is entirely controlled by the crush of the vehicle chassis. The challenge for these products was to create an adequately strong set of bullbar mounts for general road use and for winching that were still air bag compatible. Road testing showed that both the Colorado and D-Max vehicle bodies moved under rough road driving conditions. For this reason it was necessary to ensure adequate clearance was designed between the bull-bar wings and the vehicle bumper / fenders. Care was taken to ensure the stone guards were neat and fit well, under the bar, to look good and minimize aerodynamic noise. A grille was styled into the centre lower stone guard to ensure adequate vehicle cooling.

PROTECTION & STYLING CHARACTERISTICS:

• Continuous uprights through the bumper section of the bar strengthens the outer frame.
• Vehicle specific design to complement the D-Max and maximise functionality.
• Superbly engineered, air bag compatible mounting system secures to chassis via high tensile bolts.
• Combination style to suit winch/non winch applications.
• Will accommodate Warn, Magnum, Bushranger & Smittybilt low mount model electric winches.
• Twin Hi-Lift jacking points located in the pan of the bar.
• Provision to accommodate ARB Intensity LEDs and a range of IPF driving lights.
• Provision for optional ARB Fog Light kit P/No. 6821201.
• Recessed indicator/clearance lamps.
• Durable urethane buffers.
• Retains original equipment tow point.
• Two aerial brackets located on the top frame of the bar.
• Finished in a hard-wearing powder coat with the added option of colour coding to individual vehicles.

FOG LIGHT:
ARB Fog Light surrounds incorporating recessed clearance/indicator light assemblies are fitted as standard and can be upgraded to include the optional ARB Fog Light kit P/No 6821201.

AERIAL MOUNTS:
Two aerial mounts are welded to the centre tube to allow fitment of UHF/AM radio and mobile phone aerials/ antennas.

DRIVING LIGHT MOUNTS:
Combination bars include laser cut holes in the top of the centre pan for fitment of a range of compatible driving lights such as ARB Intensity LED & IPF 108, 808, 800 & 900 series lights.

HI-LIFT JACKING POINTS:
Each bar comes standard with two reinforced HiLift jacking points fitted to the centre pan.

An optional winch mounting kit P/No 3540050 is required for fitting all winch models. When fitting the Smittybilt X20, P/No 3500580 Solenoid bracket is available to mount the control box to the existing ARB bracket supplied with the bar fitting kit. P/No. 3500600 Hawse Fairlead Spacer Kit is required when using winch models fitted with synthetic rope and Hawse fairlead.
